A background overview of technology in the Honorverse, and the economic implications thereof. Subjects under consideration include non-grav technological assumptions, ubiquitous industrial nano, ubiquitous expert systems vs. "true" AI, the definition of a "countergrav society," and the importance of people in the industrial societies of the Honorverse. This will also be a good refresher for those who haven’t read the books in a while!
